Physiotherapist

Medforce are currently hiring a Physiotherapist to join our client’s team in Waterford City. This position has an immediate start date.
Our client operates a leading 15-bedded rehabilitation unit in Waterford City, committed to providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, and illness. The multidisciplinary team supports patients in regaining mobility, independence, and overall well-being in a professional and compassionate setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physiotherapist who has experience working with older adults. In this role, you will enter a supportive environment , with strong guidance from senior team members and the flexibility to manage a work-life balance.
It is a full-time, 35-hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement, and CPD opportunities.
Part-time hours are also available for this post.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat patients with a range of rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans to promote recovery.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists.
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises and mobility strategies.
Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
Requirements: Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
CORU registration
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for patient-centred care and rehabilitation.
