The Opportunity
Join our Infrastructure team in Cork and contribute to impactful projects across Ireland and Europe.
The 15-strong site infrastructure team in Ireland (based primarily in Dublin and Cork) provides a range of design services on projects in both the public and private sectors. We work very closely with other Arup teams as part of Arup-wide multi-disciplinary teams in Ireland and across the World.
We deliver projects primarily in the Science, Industry and Technology, Property, Healthcare, Social Infrastructure and Education sectors.

As a Civil Design Engineer at Arup, you will:
1. Be responsible for producing drawings, reports and specifications, reporting to senior engineers and project managers.
2. Coordinate through the design process, integrating with associated design requirements from various design partners.
3. Work independently and be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of your own work.

1. Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience within a consultancy environment.
2. Experience with Civil 3D/Revit and other BIM software.
We also value:
1. Civil engineering technical design skills in the area of surface water, foul, water, roads and carparks, earthworks, Electrical and Fibre utilities.
2. Working towards gaining chartered professional status or a similar qualification.
3. Experience in working within teams in a digital/BIM environment, co-ordinating civil services with those of other disciplines.
4. Knowledge of Navisworks.
5. Knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling software.
