Our Client

One of the largest international construction contractors, with a strong client book and annual turnover increasing year on year.

We are seeking experienced Site Managers to join our established projects and teams in Ireland and the UK.

Job Role

As a Site Manager, you will oversee the finishing phase of construction projects, ensuring quality standards are met and managing a team of subcontractors and tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the finishing phase of residential construction projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards within specified timeframes.
  • Management of a team of subcontractors and tradespeople, providing clear direction and guidance for efficient and effective work execution.
  • Coordination with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders for smooth workflow and timely completion of finishing tasks.
  • Monitoring and enforcement of compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Management of project schedules and budgets, ensuring finishing tasks are completed within set timelines and financial parameters.
  • Regular site inspections and quality control checks to identify and address any issues or defects in the finishing work.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and resources required for finishing projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a focus on finishing in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and methods used in construction.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide subcontractors and tradespeople to deliver high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise effectively with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
