Plant Fitter

Our client supplies engineering services to the animal feed milling industry throughout Ireland. They are currently seeking to employ a Service Engineer/ Plant Fitter, to join their Maintenance and Engineering team to cover the Limerick/ Cork/ Kerry and Tipperary regions.

The successful candidate will hold a Fitter / fabrication-based qualification and have sound mechanical knowledge, with relevant experience in a heavy industrial environment. Expertise in general mechanical maintenance is essential.

The successful candidate be required to:

- Provide general maintenance services and breakdown repair at Animal Feed Milling plants.

- Have a practical approach to fault finding together with a sound understanding of preventative maintenance.

- Manage time and perform duties to strict customer driven deadlines.

- Work as part of a flexible, committed, self-motivated maintenance and servicing team.

If you have general mechanical maintenance and fabrication experience, open to travelling the various sites as required, we would like to hear from you. Competitive rate per hour, plus overtime will be offered, plus company vehicle and tools, pension and mobile phone.
