As Tier 1 suppliers, PE Global Healthcare is looking to recruit a sonographer for our client in the Drogheda area.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high standards of clinical excellence in a supportive healthcare environment. Requirements BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent recognized certification). CORU registration (or eligibility to register, if applying in Ireland) / HCPC registration (if in the UK). Minimum of 12 years clinical experience as a Sonographer preferred, but newly qualified candidates will also be considered. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, and small parts imaging (depending on experience). Ensure the accurate acquisition and interpretation of diagnostic images. Maintain detailed and precise patient records and reports. Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment decisions. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times. Provide a compassionate and reassuring service to patients, maintaining dignity and confidentiality. Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and quality assurance activities.
