Management Accountant 

Here at Osborne we are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant on behalf of our client based in Co.Louth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large organization with an established finance team, currently undergoing a period of positive strategic growth. The successful candidate will maintain and further develop a Finance Business Partner approach and structure within the wider organisation.  

Location – Co.Louth (Hybrid working) 
Salary – DOE 

Key Responsibilities


Processing of monthly journals for Retail and Online revenue, salaries, accruals and prepayments.
Assist the Finance Managers with producing monthly management accounts for the Retail and Online business that are both accurate and timely, including identification and analysis of material variances to Budget and Prior year.
Preparation of the quarterly duty returns and liaising with Revenue/HMRC where necessary.
Monthly/ Quarterly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts, including relevant schedules.
Maintain the fixed asset register for all companies 
Work closely with various internal departments eg. Accounts payable and Treasury to ensure all costs have been recorded correctly.
Provide insight and analysis for cost optimisation initiatives and drive a change culture where appropriate.


 

Key Requirements


Maintain relationships and develop a Finance Business Partner support structure within the organisation.
Excellent Organisational Skills
Accountant Qualification (ACA,CIMA, ACCA) is essential 
3+ years’ experience in a similar position
A solution focused attitude with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the business.
Strong IT skills including a proficiency in Excel.
