Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our client's kitchen team in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to enhance culinary experiences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen resources efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a culinary environment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Competitive salary: €38,000-€42,000 per year, depending on experience.
