About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Asset Recruitment as a Senior Quality Control Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the quality control laboratory adheres to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  2. Manage a team of quality control analysts and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
  3. Validate, operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
  4. Maintain the validated status of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant systems
  5. Support external audits and prepare for them
  6. Implement new technologies in the quality control area to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in an analytical lab, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
  • Technical experience of GC/HPLC analysis required
  • Experience with continuous improvement plans within the quality control environment
  • Experience managing, motivating, and leading a team of analysts
