The Role

As an Account Manager at Neon, you will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, managing projects from conception to execution, and ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional event experiences. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and vision, and translating them into successful event strategies. This role requires a blend of exceptional communication skills, project management expertise, and a keen eye for detail to deliver unparalleled service and exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities

- 1. Client Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and addressing feedback promptly.

- Proactively anticipate and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.

- 2. Project Management

- Lead end-to-end project management for events, creating timelines and budgets to meet client specifications.

- Collaborate with internal teams to execute events seamlessly and within budget.

- 3. Event Strategy and Planning

- Work closely with clients to develop event strategies aligned with their goals.

- Provide creative input and stay updated on industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

- 4. Financial Management

- Prepare and manage event budgets, negotiating contracts with vendors to maintain quality within budget constraints.

- Monitor project financials and provide regular updates to clients.

- 5. Post-Event Analysis

- Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, analysing performance metrics and gathering feedback for future improvements.

- Prepare comprehensive post-event reports outlining achievements and recommendations.

Ideal Candidate

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management or related fields, with a proven track record of managing successful events from concept to completion.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs effectively.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines under pressure.

- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative event concepts and solutions tailored to clients' objectives.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, flawless events that exceed client expectations.

- Proficient in budget management, financial forecasting, and contract negotiation, with a strong understanding of financial implications in event planning.

- Collaborative team player who can effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common goals.

- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
