Salary: €60,011 – €78,015
Reporting to the Director, the Senior Curator – Collections and Research is a key position in HLG. It is a professional middle management position which requires high level professional curatorial and management skills and includes strategic and operational elements. Working with the Director they will play a central role in delivery of HLG’s strategic plan 2025‑2029 and in advancing the mission and vision of the HLG.
With the Director they will devise strategies and policies on the long‑term planning and strategic direction of the collection and research goals, contributing to a greater appreciation of Irish and international modern and contemporary art embracing innovation and new thinking in curatorial practice. They will enhance HLG’s engagement with its audiences by situating Irish based art and research in the context of global practice.
