Business Development Executive
Kore Energy is the Market Leading Energy Consultancy in Ireland. Established in 2004, Kore Energy were pioneers in offering flexible energy contract management, successfully implementing dynamic hedging strategies while actively trading on live energy markets. Kore Energy’s key service offerings include Price Risk Management, Carbon Management, Renewable Energy Generation and Market Intelligence. The role of the Business Development Executive is key in supporting the growth of Kore Energy’s Large Energy User (LEU) client base.

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic and fast-growing team in the Irish energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to play a key role in expanding our market presence and building long-term client relationships within a thriving and evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across commercial and industrial energy markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored energy solutions.

Deliver engaging sales presentations, proposals, and tenders.

Partner with internal teams to effectively close new client engagements, facilitate a smooth onboarding process, and maintain a high standard of client service excellence.

Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes within the energy sector.

What We’re Looking For

A proven track record in B2B sales and business development ideally with a focus on high‑value solution selling.

Experience or knowledge of the Irish energy market is desirable, but not essential as full training and industry insight will be provided.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self‑motivated, ambitious, and target‑driven with a strong commercial mindset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, performance‑oriented environment.

Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary: €45,000 – €60,000 (depending on experience)

Generous, uncapped commission structure with realistic OTE €70,000 – €100,000+
