Established in 1992, Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer in Ireland, the UK, and the US, operating in Motorway Service Areas, Travel Plazas, and smaller petrol stations. The company has grown to over €4.1BN in annual revenue, with more than 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally, employing over 16,000 people. Our offerings include food and beverage operations, convenience stores, and roadside services.

Description

We seek talented graduates passionate about retail, ambitious, innovative, and entrepreneurial, to join our global team of retail and corporate experts. We are committed to your development, offering meaningful learning experiences, ownership, and responsibility.

What is the programme?

Applegreen offers two streams: Accounting & Finance and IT:

Accounting & Finance

This is a three-year programme allowing graduates to rotate through finance functions like Management Accounting, Commercial Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Taxation, and Reporting. As an ACCA Approved Employer, we support graduates in achieving their ACCA qualification with full exam sponsorship, tuition support, and study leave.

IT

This two-year programme provides hands-on experience through rotations in IT projects and data management, fostering skills and international exposure. It aims to develop future tech leaders with diverse experiences and professional growth.

Graduate Training and Development

Our "Future Leaders" programme offers training across self, business, and leadership pillars, including workshops, online learning, webinars, and guest speakers. Topics include business proposals, leadership, goal setting, negotiations, communication, resilience, and design thinking. Graduates can pursue diplomas in Microsoft Excel and Project Management, with access to extensive learning resources via our graduate portal.
