Senior Project Manager

The Role
We are currently working on a number of high-density residential and commercial projects and seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to successfully deliver these to the highest quality, on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
This role will report directly to the Construction Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Serve as the key liaison between Bennett Construction Ltd and the client, providing regular updates.
- Instruct, coach, and direct project staff regarding construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring all personnel on site perform their duties to high standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operational duties.
- Continuously improve operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively to provide seamless customer service.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues.
- Build and develop business relationships for project success.
- Provide feedback and record lessons learned for seminars and staff development.
You will need
- A degree qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience at the Project Manager level.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering high-density residential or commercial projects.
- Excellent ability to analyze and interpret contractual documents.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills, with a proven track record in construction planning.
- Technical competence to set and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Extensive experience leading project teams and managing subcontractors.
- Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications, including MS Office and project management software like MS Project or Powerproject.
