Fractional CTO (Payments Experience)

Location: Dublin

Engagement: 2 days/week initially, with potential for full-time by mid-2025

About the Role:

We are seeking a Fractional CTO with strong experience in payments systems to lead the technical direction of a fast-growing startup. You will be responsible for managing the tech team, guiding product scaling, and leveraging your expertise in payments platforms. Additionally, your role will include working closely with stakeholders on funding strategies and private equity involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the tech team to drive product scaling.

- Develop and implement the technical roadmap.

- Optimize payment systems to enhance platform functionality.

- Guide tech decisions around private equity and funding requirements.

Tech Stack: Oversee a tech stack including:

- .NET framework

- SQL Server

- Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Required Experience:

- CTO experience, particularly in payments systems and scaling products.

- Expertise in team leadership and working with funding/PE processes.
