A client of mine based in Dublin is looking to hire a self-motivated and ambitious senior analyst on a permanent basis. My client is a well-known entity in the insurance and reinsurance space. They are a leading, privately owned, multi-line global reinsurer with a reputation for financial stability and strength.

Their 12-person Analytics team, which has a presence in Dublin, Zurich, and Strasbourg, is expanding and is looking for a professional with a background in reinsurance who can be accountable and responsible for the following areas:

1. Handling of internal retrocession processes
2. Reconciliations between sub and general ledger
3. Support of internal and external reporting (GAAP, regulatory and statutory reporting)
4. Support of the external and internal audit process
5. Portfolio analyses
6. Support projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
7. Maintenance of appropriate process documentation
8. Cooperation with and support of functional areas such as Finance, Reserving, and UW Operation teams
9. Calculation, analysis, and monitoring of premium and commission estimates
