Tax Acountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team in Dublin City. This role offers an attractive salary and the opportunity to work with a global financial institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax reporting and compliance for entities based in the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant Job:

- Provide tax reporting and compliance for entities based in the UK and Ireland
- Work alongside other UK and Toronto based Finance teams
- Assist with the tax notes for all the UK & Irish entities
- Prepare all journal entries relating to corporation tax and VAT
- Calculate and ensure all tax payments are made on timely basis

Requirements of the Tax Accountant Job:

- Working knowledge of UK or Irish corporate tax
- Working knowledge of VAT, particularly partial exemption for financial services
- Outstanding analytical skills with an inquisitive mindset
- Proven organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire other team members
