The Opportunity As an Instalment Billing Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence and efficiency within the billing operation. You will oversee a small team dedicated to managing and processing instalment billing for our customers. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes, resolving discrepancies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee team workload to consistently achieve quality and service standards.
Understand key performance drivers and identify opportunities to continuously improve team performance.
Overseeing team members across various locations.
Develop performance and development plans, support talent and succession planning, and empower the team to identify operational and process improvements.
Collaborate with leadership across business areas to implement efficiencies aligned with the Allianz Customer Model.
Implement vendor contracts and monitor service delivery against KPIs.
Ensure team are up to date on all mandatory training.
Oversee billing quality assurance with operational support.
Utilize robotics and AI to enhance the billing experience.
Supervise the Complaints Management process and coordinate formal responses.
Key Requirements / Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years' customer service handling experience, ideally within insurance services.
Proven track record of Customer Service delivery against relevant targets.
Good Analytical skills and detail focused.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Good organisational and administrative ability including effective time management.
Must be able to work effectively within a Team
Innovative thinking – creative ideas that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
Demonstrate ability for developing strong customer relationships and effectively resolving customer complaints
Demonstrable coaching/ development skills
Familiarity with the local regulatory context and requirements.
Should be pro-active, self-reliant, confident, and able to remain calm under pressure.
