Data Science and Advanced Analytics Specialist Join to apply for the Data Science and Advanced Analytics Specialist role at Aviva
We’re building smarter ways to price electric vehicles (EVs), and we need your help. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract where you’ll join a team that’s shaping the future of insurance through data. Your work will help us understand EVs better and make sure our pricing reflects real-world trends. You’ll source and engineer new data features and help bring them to life in our pricing models. It’s a role that blends curiosity, collaboration and impact.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to define EV data needs
Research market trends, competitor offerings and regulations
Identify and assess internal and external EV data sources
Engineer EV-specific features for predictive modelling
Write business specs and project manage implementation
Skills & Experiences
Strong data analytics skills, ideally with vehicle data
Confident using SQL for data extraction and analysis
Able to build business cases and present insights clearly
Comfortable working across teams and driving change
Experience in business analysis or project management (a plus)
