Clinical Nurse Specialist, CAMHS

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced psychiatric nurses to play a pivotal role in a committed multidisciplinary team, contributing to mental healthcare treatment services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide generic and specialist in-patient assessment and treatment to patients referred from across the country.
- Lead, motivate and ensure effective use of resources in providing the highest standard of patient care.
- Promote and facilitate the development of staff and student nurses while assisting in implementing change within the hospital.
- Registered or final stages of registering with the NMBI as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- A Level 8 post-registration National Qualifications Authority of Ireland major academic award relevant to Adolescent Mental Health.
- Relevant clinical experience and expertise (a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in mental health services including 2 years in Adolescent Mental Health).
- Nursing Medicinal Product Prescribing qualification (candidates without same must commit to undertaking this training within 2 years).
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Dynamic and energetic individuals with experience working at Clinical Nurse Management or as a Staff Nurse in mental health.
- In-depth knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership, and governance with evidence of continuing professional development.
