Our client is on the hunt for a talented Database SRE (DBA) to join their innovative SRE and BA department If you have a passion for database management and optimisation, this is the opportunity for you What You'll Do: - Install, configure, and maintain database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. - Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning measures to ensure peak performance. - Ensure data integrity and security through robust backup and recovery strategies. - Collaborate with developers to design and optimise database schemas and queries. - Stay ahead of industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the team What You Bring: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of database systems, SQL proficiency, and optimisation techniques. - Familiarity with database security practises and compliance standards. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator). - Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
