The Role: As the Product Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle of our bathroom furniture range, from concept to market launch and beyond. You will work closely with cross functional teams, including design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales, to ensure our products meet customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Your strategic thinking and business acumen will drive the success of our category in a competitive and evolving market. Key Responsibilities: Manage the product lifecycle of our bathroom furniture category, including planning, development, sourcing, and end-of-life strategies. Lead new product development initiatives by identifying market opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive gaps. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure products are innovative, functional, and aligned with brand values. Conduct data analysis to evaluate product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to inform decision-making. Develop and execute category strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders. Prepare and present regular reports on category performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure all products meet regulatory standards, quality requirements, and sustainability goals. Core Competencies: 1. Strategic Thinking: Your ability to think long-term and develop innovative strategies will ensure our bathroom furniture category remains competitive and relevant in the market. 2. Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting market data, sales performance, and consumer insights to make informed business decisions. 3. Effective Communication : Clear and concise communication is vital for collaborating with internal teams, presenting strategies, and aligning stakeholders around shared goals. 4. Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business operations, financials, and market dynamics will enable you to drive profitability and growth for the category. 5. Interpersonal Skills: Building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners will be key to your success in this collaborative and dynamic role. Requirements: Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the KBB (Kitchens, Bedrooms, and Bathrooms) sector, with a focus on product management or category management. Proven experience in managing product lifecycles and leading new product development initiatives. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering business results. Knowledge of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity in the bathroom furniture industry. Experience working with cross functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and marketing.
