Our client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary building contractor with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. As a family-run business, they have grown to provide services in general and civil contracting, property development, project management, timber frame manufacturing, and bespoke joinery. They have a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and on budget to the highest standards of finishing, driven by core values of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finishing Site Manager to join their team in Drogheda, Co Louth. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all finishing trades on-site, including carpentry, painting, tiling, flooring, and M&E final fixes. Develop and manage finishing schedules in coordination with the Project Manager. Ensure all works are carried out to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications. Conduct regular quality control inspections and snagging lists. Liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery. Manage health and safety on-site for all finishing works, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Order materials and manage deliveries to ensure timely completion of works. Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports. Coordinate with the project team to ensure a seamless handover to the client. Qualifications and Experience A third-level qualification in a construction-related discipline is preferred. A trade background (e.g., carpentry) is highly advantageous. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing high-quality finishing works. Experience working on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and retail. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards. Valid Safe Pass and other relevant certifications. Key Skills and Competencies Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office. What's on Offer A competitive salary and benefits package.
