Our client is a leading engineering consultancy firm specializing in structural and civil engineering projects across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their team in Longford.

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and analysis of structural components for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality designs.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Utilize industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.
- Ensure projects adhere to relevant building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Assist in project management, including cost estimation and timeline planning.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish building regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is an advantage.
- Full driving license and ability to travel to project sites when required.

Salary: €50,000 to €55,000 Per Annum Sector: Civil & Structural Engineering Contract Type: Full time Town/City: Meath/Dublin
