This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior executives across various industries, develop your skills, and build a long-term career in captive insurance management. We will rely on you to: Build relationships with clients, including liaison with brokers and insurers. Work as part of a team to prepare for presentations to our managed insurance company boards. Provide technical advice and expertise to clients. Oversee or assist with financial statement review and preparation, accounting for premiums and claims movements. Assist with underwriting documentation and decisions, monitor exposures and risk transfer pricing, and coordinate with actuarial and claims departments. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies, including strategic reviews. Identify and pursue new captive business opportunities and assist in developing proposals and strategic recommendations for prospective clients. Attend/Present at client meetings. Ensure ongoing compliance with Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) requirements and be responsible for the settlement of IPT and liaising with service providers. Oversight and monitor accurately of premium and claims data in internal captive management systems to enable accuracy and timely preparation of management accounts and financial statements. What you need to have: Knowledge of the insurance industry from a broking, underwriting, or claims background. Excellent and articulate communication skills - written and verbal. Several years of insurance industry experience. Captive (re)insurance experience is desirable. Some understanding of insurance regulations. Familiarity with Solvency II regulations and Central Bank of Ireland requirements is desirable. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Ability to work effectively as part of a client service team and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
