This company comes well known for quality design and reliable manufacturing services and are currently seeking a quality engineer for their manufacturing facility in Waterford to join their growing team Role: The successful Quality Engineer will be tasked with a variety of duties including but not limited to: Manage a team of 3 ensuring adherence to protocols and standards Conduct and lead internal auditing while planning and monitoring the internal audit schedule. Act as a point of contact for clients on quality issues and enquiries. Work closely with all QA, QC, document control and validation team members. Lead and develop internal risk assessments for the department. Develop validation documentation and processes e.g., protocols, plans, etc. Person: We are seeking experienced well-rounded individuals, coming ideally with the following: Relevant engineering trade/qualification is required. Several years' experience within a quality engineering role is needed. Experience in a highly regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical or transferable industry such as precision engineering, aerospace, etc. is required. Knowledge of ISO13485 is a must. Knowledge of process and equipment validation is desired.
