Competition & Regulation Lawyers NQ-Senior Associate - Dublin / Cork
We have a new and exciting opportunity for lawyers to join our market‑leading Competition & Regulation team. The team is centrally involved in most of the high profile merger control, competition and regulatory law cases affecting the Irish market, is consistently ranked in the top tier of competition advisers in Ireland. The team is also afforded “Elite” status by leading trade press “Global Competition Review”.
About the role
In this role you will have the opportunity to work on complex and novel legal matters for our market‑leading roster of international and domestic clients, advising across the following areas:
Merger control under the EU and Irish merger control rules;
Antitrust investigations;
State aid and foreign subsidies regulation;
Public procurement law; and
Economic and sectoral regulation, including telecommunications, broadcasting, postal services, energy and transport (aviation, bus and rail).
The person
You have a strong academic track record, are experienced in competition law and are keen to further develop your skills in this specialist area. You are highly client‑focused and committed to consistently exceeding client expectations. You can manage a diverse workload, deliver quality, commercially‑focused advice working collaboratively across the practice area. You enjoy the law you practice, and are hardworking and resilient. You will thrive in a diverse and inclusive environment where you will work in partnership with top legal talent in a market‑leading team that is continuing to grow. You will enjoy establishing relationships with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
You may choose to be based in our Dublin or Cork offices.
