Location: Saint John of God Community Mental Health Services, Cluain Mhuire Services Cluain Mhuire is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision, delivering a community-based adult Psychiatric service for the Southeast Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of approximately 172,000 people. We provide Acute Mental Health Care and Treatment, Outpatient Clinics, and Crisis Resolution Service; Recovery Programmes and Vocational Training; Residential Rehabilitation Service; Liaison Psychiatry Service; The Mental Health Component of the National Gender Service; Home-based interventions; Early Intervention Service for Psychosis; Mental Health and Intellectual Disability and a variety of targeted therapies. Staff Nurse Permanent, Full-time Saint John of God Community Services, Cluain Mhuire, which offers residential rehabilitation services, is now inviting applications for the post of Mental Health Staff Nurse in an 18-bedded high-support residential unit located in Stillorgan. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and committed to delivering a high-quality service that meets the needs and priorities of our service users. Role Summary The successful applicant will provide support to those with varying degrees of mental health issues in a community setting. This role involves working collaboratively with service users using the recovery model to co-create personalised recovery pathways. Minimum Requirements The successful applicant must show that they meet the following requirements: Be registered or eligible for the current psychiatric nursing division NMBI Be prepared to undertake venipuncture. Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development. Have proven demonstrable experience of flexible working and project a professional appearance/attitude fully embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing. Have excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills. Remuneration Salary Grade 2674 MENTAL HEALTH STAFF NURSE on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €37,647 - €55,273 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is South County Dublin. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business and/or the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
