Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm desk within the Food industry, specialising in Supply Chain, Production and Quality roles. This is a key position in our business with the opportunity to manage established client relationships, deliver high-quality recruitment solutions, and expand our presence across the sector.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an existing client portfolio within the food industry, ensuring repeat business and cross-functional sales opportunities
Develop new client relationships through targeted business development, networking and market mapping
Build strong candidate networks and pipelines across supply chain, production and quality functions
Deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience, ensuring high levels of service and consistent results
Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and advise on best recruitment strategies
Negotiate fees, manage offers, and oversee the full recruitment cycle
Maintain accurate data and activity records across CRM/ATS and internal systems
Experience and Skills Required Minimum 3–5 years’ recent experience in a contingency recruitment environment (last 5 years essential)
Strong track record in client, candidate and stakeholder management
Demonstrable business development skills with proven ability to generate and convert new opportunities
Sales-oriented mindset with strong influencing, negotiation and persuasion skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
Confident user of recruitment systems, CRM/ATS platforms, and MS Office Suite
Personal Attributes Results-driven and commercially focused
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Proactive, self-motivated and resilient in approach
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
