It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities. It manages the maintenance and administration of these systems, provides end-user assistance and training and maintains documentation to ensure smooth operations. The team also focuses on ongoing development of the NTMA's treasury financial systems to optimise business processes and enhance reporting capabilities, acting as the principal interface between the business and technology. The Treasury Systems Team wishes to recruit a Treasury Systems Analyst on a permanent contract. Principal Accountabilities Contributes to the Team in performing and delivering effective and efficient treasury operations and processes. Performs core systems management / administration roles such user access management and related reviews for relevant Treasury financial systems (including SWIFT product suite, EUROCLEAR, SPRINT, CashPRO) Administration and maintenance of Treasury Management System static data including the settlement instructions for domestic and international payments on instruction for NTMA Treasury Operations. When required assists with user testing on Treasury financial systems enhancements and upgrades. Maintaining and updating business continuity plans in respect of key Treasury financial systems. Maintain a strongly controlled systems environment. Liaise with internal auditors, IT and systems users as required. Work with the team in efficiently implementing business initiatives and managing changes relating to key Treasury financial systems. Experience and Knowledge Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business or IT discipline or equivalent certification. 3-5 years' experience in a systems maintenance/support role or in a finance operations team. An understanding of treasury products and derivatives. SWIFT or Euroclear system experience would be an advantage. Skills Demonstrated ability to work across multiple business units and levels. Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with an ability to form good working relationships with team members and colleagues. Good IT skills (MS Office) Problem solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail.
