Senior .NET/C# Developer Location: Dublin, Ireland Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Salary: €85,000 - €95,000 (DOE) About the Role An established and growing technology consultancy is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Developer to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications using modern Microsoft technologies. As a Senior Developer, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle - from architecture and design through to implementation and support. You'll work across a variety of enterprise-level projects for high-profile clients, with a strong emphasis on clean code, testability, and best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C# Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with other internal and third-party services Participate in solution design and architecture discussions with stakeholders Take ownership of technical solutions and ensure they align with customer needs Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when required Work with cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure Technical Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C# Solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC and Web API development Experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React or Angular a plus) Proficiency in Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, etc.) Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework) Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Desirable Experience with microservices architecture Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) Exposure to message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ) Certifications in Microsoft or Azure technologies Perks & Benefits Performance-based bonus scheme Flexible hybrid/remote working options Generous annual leave plus additional wellbeing days Pension scheme and private health insurance Gym membership discounts and wellness initiatives Support for certifications and ongoing professional development Bike-to-work scheme and other tax-saving incentives Social and volunteering opportunities If you're interested, please apply below.
