About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing business for a Principal Salesforce technical specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing ownership of our Salesforce Financial Cloud platform. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to shape our future operating model.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

- In depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and specifically Financial Services Cloud, Agentforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud technologies

- Experience using Salesforce API features to expose data & functionality to other enterprise applications

- A track record of contributing at a senior level and driving continuous improvement

- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders up to and including Board

Responsibilities

- Working closely with implementation partners, you will be a co-creator of all design and integration options.

- As a subject matter expert for Salesforce, you will provide insights and propose innovative solutions that enhance proposition effectiveness, streamline client engagement and support long term scalability.

- Collaborate with business users and department heads to identify operational challenges and define effective technical and process-based solutions.

- Drive high levels of automation through process and agent-based workflows.

- Coordinate the development of the application and data integration elements of the overall solution.

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, project documentation, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks.

- Ensure accurate migration and reconciliation of historical data to support seamless transition and operational continuity.

- Become a subject matter expert by maintaining a detailed knowledge base of business operations, business processes, data flows and systems.

- Lead the development and execution of robust test strategies to validate system functionality and support successful deployment.

- Support business readiness through process reviews, training material development, training delivery, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

Experience required:

- 10+ years of experience in App Development/Implementation roles

- In depth experience in aligning Salesforce platforms with business needs

- Hands-on experience implementing Lightning Web Components (LWC’s) and proficiency in Apex (controllers, triggers, batch classes, queueable Apex)

- Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications APIs and other integration models.

- SalesforceTechnical accreditations

Non-Technical skills required

Problem Solving

- An ability to engage the process and best practice associated with creative problem solving.

- Strong technical skills are required to understand the infrastructure environment and meet the organisation’s needs.

Communications

- A clear understanding of how to identify business needs and drivers and how to deal effectively with a variety of situations.

- An awareness of the needs of developing professional relationships

- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
