CNC Machinist

We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Operator/Toolmaker to join our team. In this role you will be required to operate advanced ( Hurco VM ) CNC 3-Axis milling machines to produce high precision components and tooling for manufacturing, mechanical and biomedical sectors while maintaining both quality and efficiency in accordance with production schedules. This is a permanent position with the opportunity for progression and development within a growing company. Key Responsibilities Include: Operate CNC Milling to produce parts according to engineering specification and drawings. Interpret technical drawings and work orders. Perform regular basic machine maintenance. Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments i.e. Verniers/micrometres. Adjust machine offsets and tooling as necessary to achieve desired specifications and tolerance's. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to the safety and quality standards. Document production data and report any issues to supervisor. Skills/ Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Milling operator is preferable. Experience with Hurco machine is preferred not essential. Familiarity with fusion 360 software preferred not essential . Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with precision measurement equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
