Ausbildungsinhalte: Gäste empfangen, beraten und betreuen
Gasträume herrichten und kontrollieren
Speisen und Getränke servieren
Verkaufsgespräche führen und Angebote erstellen
Hotelkasse führen
Veranstaltungen planen, organisieren und durchführen
Marketingmaßnahmen entwickeln, durchführen und kontrollieren
Personaleinsatz planen, Gästekorrespondenz führen, Warenwirtschaft
Hotelfachleute sind Allrounder, die die Arbeit in den unterschiedlichen Bereichen eines Beherbergungsbetriebs beherrschen. Kernaufgabe sind Reservierung und Empfang. Auch im Bereich Food & Beverage (Service und Küche), im Housekeeping (Gestaltung und Pflege von Zimmern), in Warenwirtschaft und Marketing werden Hofas gründlich ausgebildet. Die professionelle Kommunikation mit den Gästen zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch alle Tätigkeiten – im persönlichen Verkaufs- oder Beratungsgespräch, am Check-in wie auch über digitale Kanäle. So sind Hotelfachmänner und Hotelfachfrauen Seele, Herz und Hirn des Hotels.
