Position Overview

We are building a novel software stack to unlock the power of industry-leading in-memory computing technology, enabling AI developers to seamlessly transform their Machine Learning models into highly optimized machine code for the Axelera hardware platform. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our Software Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration, scalability, and reliability of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our continuous integration and implementation processes, optimizing the workflow for efficient code compilation, testing, and deployment—ultimately driving high-efficiency and high-performance ML applications.

Key responsibilities:

1. Administer and maintain physical and cloud-based server infrastructure.
2. Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
3. Provide technical expertise for daily operations and issue resolution.
4. Monitor system and network health to ensure optimal performance.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on servers.
6. Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure systems are up-to-date.
7. Oversee data backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in network administration, including knowledge of TCP/IP, LANs, WANs, DNS, switches, and firewalls.
2. Hands-on experience with Linux OS installations, configuration, and maintenance (e.g., LDAP, PXE Boot).
3. Strong hardware troubleshooting skills, preferably at an enterprise level.
4. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., LXC, KVM, Docker, Proxmox).
5. Proficiency in scripting for automation and system management.
6. At least two years of professional experience in a similar role.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

The following would be a plus for this role:

1. Experience with version control systems (Github or Gitlab)
2. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes)

Location

This is an on-site position based in our headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands. We support relocation to Eindhoven for talent based abroad and interested in this role.
