Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and income statement analysis for Irish entities. Maintain Accounts Payable and Receivable systems on Herbst ERP. Prepare customer sales invoices, cashflow forecasts, budget projections, and ad hoc financial reports. Ensure compliance with tax requirements, including EI, Eurostars, and R&D Tax Credit claims. Liaise with external auditors, banks, payroll providers, and government authorities. Cover monthly payroll processes (experience an advantage but not essential). Attend and review cycle stock counts. Provide financial support to cross-functional teams and prepare audit files. Ensure BOM and SKUs are accurately maintained on ERP for group companies. Support costing of inventory and ad hoc pricing activities. Lead, mentor, and develop finance personnel while conducting annual reviews and appraisals. Travel occasionally (approx. 10%) as required to support finance operations. Qualifications and Experience Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Minimum of 3 years PQE in a similar position within a multinational environment; experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals is desirable. Strong knowledge of ERP accounting systems (experience with Herbst is an advantage). Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
