Are you looking for something a little bit different from a typical Finance role? In Barden we are delighted to be partnering with a well-known Multinational in Cork to identify a Financial Controller.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing dynamic business as a key representative for Finance in a controllership capacity across EMEA. There will be huge variety to the role with significant stakeholder engagement across the business and region.

The role reports to an impressive leader in a high performing and collaborative Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, possess strong technical skills and an ability to build meaningful relationships across the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Responsible for providing accurate and timely information to senior management including supporting US GAAP closing process
- Review of statutory financial statements under US and local GAAP
- Responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, working with internal and external audit teams
- Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment for unique transactions.
- Provide training and guidance on technical accounting topics
- Business partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal and wider global teams to understand the business movements and make necessary accounting adjustments
- Contribution to the establishment of a continuous improvement culture.

ABOUT THE PERSON

- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE.
- Experience within a multinational environment.
- Technically strong with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive ERP experience.
- Positive attitude with a high level of personal integrity.
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
