* Salary : €100,000+ DOE * ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading international multi-disciplinary design consultancy, for an associate director position in their growing civil & structural department. The successful candidate will be a key figure in the design, coordination, and execution of technically complex projects, while helping to drive growth and innovation within the business. This is the ideal role for an ambitious and driven senior candidate looking for the opportunity to instigate and lead a period of rapid expansion throughout the commercial, industrial and data-centre sectors. About the role: Lead the design, coordination, and project delivery of civil and structural engineering works for large-scale data centre developments. Represent the civil & structural discipline at leadership level, contributing to strategic planning and execution. Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and act as the senior technical authority across multiple concurrent projects. Ensure civil and structural deliverables meet the highest standards in safety, quality, compliance, and performance. Collaborate closely with internal MEP, architectural, project management, and cost consultancy teams across various international locations. Provide technical leadership during client and stakeholder meetings, offering clear insight and assurance. Oversee the production of fee proposals, bid responses, resource planning, and project schedules. Support the development and implementation of best practices, digital engineering strategies, and design automation initiatives. Build, lead and manage a team of senior design engineers What I need? Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered Engineer status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE). 10+ years post-graduate experience, with significant exposure to mission-critical infrastructure, particularly data centres. Proven track record of leading civil and structural design on large scale projects. Deep understanding of codes, standards, and delivery models related to data centre facilities. Expertise in structural design software such as ETABS, Robot, Tekla, or STAAD. Prior involvement in digital transformation or BIM implementation in structural workflows. Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, schedules, and design risk. Excellent interpersonal, client-facing, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
