With ongoing projects and a full order book ahead, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our mission-critical projects (pharma/data centres) in Cork. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the project leadership team and the wider Commercial department to ensure successful project delivery for our clients and stakeholders.

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your key duties will include:

- Providing commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager
- Undertaking internal valuations and preparing cost reports
- Supporting the management of subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Assisting with project budget and variation reporting
- Distributing and tracking invoices for approval
- Responding to and resolving inquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner

Key Qualifications Required

- Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Trade Qualification, or similar
- 1-3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector
- Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings effectively
- Good communication skills and high computer literacy
- Full license and own reliable transport
