Youll play a critical role in ensuring high standards in instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain Excellence:Execute calibration and maintenance tasks in alignment with ISO9001:2015 standards and company procedures. Technical Expertise:Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation equipment while ensuring all associated documentationsuch as calibration certificates and work ordersis completed to impeccable standards. Best Practices Application:Apply advanced instrumentation practices, including instrument identification, tagging, interval analysis, and criticality assessments, in both lab and on-site settings. Diverse Equipment Experience:Work with a wide range of instrumentation equipment, including (but not limited to) flow, temperature, humidity, pH, conductivity, pressure, and weighing systems. Customer Satisfaction:Deliver calibration and service solutions that meet & exceed customer expectations. Problem Solving:Use your initiative to identify and resolve faults or errors in instruments and provide innovative suggestions to customers for long-term solutions. Workflow Management:Handle administration tasks related to client equipment, managing its journey through the workflow from receipt to return. Client Collaboration:Coordinate with sales teams and supplier representatives to create quotations and proposals for clients, including subcontracted services or equipment replacements. Internal Equipment Management:Oversee the calibration and maintenance of service department test instruments calibrated by third-party providers. What You'll Do Test & Repair Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a wide range of instrumentation equipment, documenting all findings and work completed. Manage & Organise Oversee the management and calibration of internal test instruments by external providers. Administer & Document Complete all necessary documentation relating to client equipment, including calibration certificates, work orders, and other relevant paperwork. Collaborate & Communicate Work closely with the sales department and suppliers to provide quotations and suggest solutions for equipment that may need external servicing or replacement. What Youll Bring Expertise in Calibration: Proven proficiency in designing and programming control systems for industrial applications. Familiarity with Calibration Procedures: Familiarity with S88 batch process control is a bonus. Process Instrumentation Skills: A working knowledge of process instrumentation will be an advantage. Person ? Strong Automation or Control Experience is required ? Organised ? Flexible / adaptable ? Disciplined ? Self-Motivated Education & Experience ? 2 years+ of experience working in calibrations ?
