Job Title: Marketing Manager

We are seeking a savvy marketeer and dynamic team player to join us on an exciting journey as we continue to deliver on our ambitious growth plans.

This is a 12-month maternity cover contract for the position of Marketing Manager, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Customer Experience.

About the Role:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans to drive customer engagement, increase participation, and boost sales across our restaurants.
  • Collaborate with culinary, commercial, and nutrition teams to create compelling marketing communications that support health, wellbeing, provenance, and seasonality.
  • Monitor food and beverage trends and partner with culinary teams to bring fresh insights to life in our restaurants.
  • Lead the execution of seasonal promotions, themed events, guest chef programmes, and pop-up activations.
  • Present tailored marketing plans at client meetings, showcasing a deep understanding of their workforce and how our food programme enhances workplace culture.
  • Manage Compass Ireland and Glanmore Foods brand identity across all customer and client touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital & Content
    • Maximise social media and online platforms to engage audiences and communicate our brand story effectively.
    • Produce engaging content for internal and external channels (e.g., photography, supplier videos, blogs).
    • Oversee relationships with external agencies including social media, PR, branding, web, and print.
  • Event & Campaign Management
    • Lead project management for Compass Ireland events and activations, including leveraging partnerships like Taste of Dublin.
    • Support Sales & Retention Teams by attending 'kick off' meetings and creating tailored marketing plans for new business opportunities.
    • Assist in the mobilisation of new sites including branding, signage, launch events, and communications.

About You:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in brand marketing or brand communications, ideally within a food-related, hospitality, franchise, retail, or FMCG environment.
  • A self-starter with a strong track record of developing marketing and communications strategies and delivering supporting initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
