Overview We are looking for a Full or Part Time Podiatrist to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in our clinics and nursing homes in Dublin and Meath. The FTE salary range is €50,000-€77,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to € Apply + with commission. Travel is required for this role; a driver/'s license and access to a car are preferred. Responsibilities Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verrucas, corns, calluses, etc.
Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clip nails and perform general foot care
Treat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease requiring preventative care and assistance
Evaluate the condition of a patient/'s feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations
Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through exams and other methods
Provide treatments such as prescribing orthotics to improve foot and ankle conditions
Advise on foot and ankle care and general wellness techniques
Educate patients on how to improve conditions
Collaborate with GP/'s, physiotherapists and other team members; refer patients to specialists when needed
Meet continuous education requirements and maintain an up-to-date CPD folder
Write patient case notes and reports, manage payments and issue receipts
Place stock orders and log repairs
Supervise student and junior podiatrists when applicable
Manage clinical risk and maintain infection control awareness
Provide caring, compassionate and professional care with the patient at the center
Contribute to blogs and content for marketing channels and provide feedback to the marketing team
Qualifications BSc or MSc in Podiatry (essential)
CORU registration (essential)
Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) (essential)
Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
Private practice experience (preferred)
New graduates welcome
