Your responsibilities:
- Make global public transport run smoothly with innovative and customised software solutions – become part of our team
- Together with your team, you will support public transport companies worldwide in the introduction and use of our innovative solutions
- The focus will be on our control center software for automated vehicle location (AVL), intermodal transport control system (ITCS) and electromobility applications
- As technical point of contact to the customer, you will independently analyse and process incidents in customer systems and take care of the identification and elimination of irregularities
- Furthermore, you will guide our customers through software installations as well as the preceding test phase(s) to eliminate any software errors
- You will work in close cooperation with our teams based in the headquarters in Germany
- The following technologies are used: Java, Groovy, XML and Spring
Your qualifications:
- Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering, a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Initial professional experience in a customer-oriented environment is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for a mix of development and consulting tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills and team spirit
- You have a keen interest in complex systems and enjoy technical talk with your colleagues
- Experience with object-oriented software development based on Java would be a plus
- Availability for occasional business travel to our headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany
- Proficient in written and spoken English
