Overview Senior Software Engineer I, Frontend - Growth Acquisition. The Growth Product Group focuses on acquisition, onboarding, retention, and monetisation across the HubSpot product platform to help millions of organisations grow by discovering, adopting, and buying HubSpot’s products.
The Growth Acquisition Core team creates tools, libraries, components and apps used to drive product adoption and deliver the best in-app onboarding experience. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product, delivering for both internal and external users.
What you’ll do Design and build scalable, user-friendly front-end applications that improve onboarding and product adoption experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to ship high-quality features quickly.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in React, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies.
Contribute to front-end architecture and design decisions that support long-term scalability and performance.
Mentor and support other engineers on the team, helping raise the technical bar.
Use data and experimentation (A/B testing, feature flags) to validate impact and guide product decisions.
Continuously look for ways to improve usability, accessibility, and performance in the customer experience.
What we’re looking for Strong experience building front-end applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment where experimentation drives learning.
Understanding of performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
Experience working with APIs and collaborating with back-end engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
Proactive collaborators who enjoy working with cross-functional partners (Product, UX, Data).
Ownership mindset and motivation to make an impact on customers and business growth.
Growth mindset with willingness to share knowledge, mentor others, and learn from peers.
Nice to have Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing frameworks.
Knowledge of front-end build tools, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with customer acquisition, onboarding, or growth-focused product development.
