About the Role

Location: Galway, Ireland (Hybrid)
Reports to: CEO

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Galvia’s AI solutions for both enterprise and higher education clients. This role is pivotal in managing the full delivery cycle, from planning through to deployment and post-implementation support, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in our growth and operational efficiency, with the opportunity to take on strategic responsibilities as the company expands.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute across both project delivery and client success, with room to specialise as we build out our teams. You will help shape our delivery processes and client engagement strategies, ensuring that our AI platforms are effectively implemented and deliver real value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead and manage all phases of AI product delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals, technical requirements, and business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure clear communication and a shared understanding of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Process Design & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, manage resources and risks, and oversee project execution to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for both internal teams and clients, managing expectations, addressing challenges, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Post-Implementation Oversight: Provide initial post-deployment client support, ensuring smooth transition and continued client success, until a dedicated account management team is in place.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project management processes and recommend improvements to drive operational efficiency and better client outcomes.
- Strategic Growth: Play a key role in refining our product delivery processes, with the potential to grow into a senior leadership role as the company expands.

What you Bring?

- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience managing large, complex projects, ideally in a technology or product delivery environment.
- Agile Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, and practical experience managing Agile projects.
- Software Development Knowledge: In-depth understanding of project management principles within software development, including the ability to design and implement technology-driven processes.
- Lifecycle Management: Proven ability to clearly articulate and manage the entire project management lifecycle, from conception through delivery and beyond.
- Process Design: Experience in developing and implementing technology processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong organisational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: A strong track record of solving complex challenges, managing risks, and ensuring project goals are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, managing their expectations, and leading cross-functional project teams.
- Fluency in English: Perfect fluency in both verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Client-Facing Experience: Experience working directly with clients, managing customer-facing interactions, and delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in Software Tools: Strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or GitHub.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability and willingness to travel when required to meet with clients and support project delivery.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working with AI platforms or data-driven solutions.
- Fluency in an additional European language.
