Pricing Machine Learning Engineer

Aviva is seeking a talented and drivenPricing Machine Learning Engineer to join our Personal Lines Insurance Pricing Team. This is a key role in shaping the future of pricing for Motor and Home Insurance, helping us maintain our position as a market leader through innovation, fairness, and technical excellence. Duties & Responsibilities: Build Machine Learning White Box models for Motor and Home Insurance pricing. Create innovative new rating factors to be the first of their kind in Irish or UK Insurance Tailor the rating approach to autonomous vehicles and electric cars Develop new automated optimisers to optimise profit in fair ways. Streamline feature engineering scripts to produce rating factors aiming for efficiency and simplicity. Skills & Experience: Previous experience working in General or Life Insurance isessential. A degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning, Actuarial Science) Strong command of machine learning techniques and their application in real-world pricing problems. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Excellent communication skillscomfortable presenting technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
