We’re seeking a talented Engineer 2 to play a crucial role in developing a groundbreaking cardiovascular treatments. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic global project, working on a Class 3 medical device from inception to commercialization, with the potential to impact patients worldwide.
In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated cardiovascular team, contributing to the design and development of a complex delivery system for a cutting-edge product. You'll engage in everything from conceptual design and bench testing to supporting regulatory submissions (PMA for FDA) and ultimately bringing a life-saving device to market.

Required Skills 4+ years of experience as an Engineer in Medical Devices (Class 3)
Proven expertise in Delivery Systems Design
Experience with Stent or Stent Graft Development, preferably in Aortic or Coronary applications
Strong knowledge of biomaterials and medical device material selection
Hands-on experience with bench testing methods: compression testing, cling testing, etc.
Solid understanding of design controls, including creating Design History Files, risk management, verification, validation, and design inputs/outputs
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Material Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or related field
Nice to Have Skills Experience working on vascular or cardiovascular devices
Knowledge of clinical study processes related to device development
Familiarity with regulatory pathways and FDA submission processes
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across geographies (Limerick, Denmark, US)
