ATG are working with a leading environmental consultancy firm based in Dublin, committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable environmental solutions for both public and private sector clients. Their work spans a range of sectors including infrastructure, energy, transport, and construction.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and delivery of environmental impact assessments (EIAs), reports, and planning documentation.
- Support fieldwork including site inspections, data collection, and environmental monitoring (e.g., water, air, noise, and soil).
- Conduct desktop research and baseline assessments using GIS and other tools.
- Assist with environmental compliance audits and reporting.
- Contribute to environmental management plans and sustainability assessments.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams under the supervision of senior staff.
- Maintain accurate project records and support report writing.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or graduate placements considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS or environmental modelling software is a plus.
- Full clean driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
