Key Responsibilities: Project Co-ordination Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks. Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs and performance metrics Asset Management: Maintain accurate asset records within the CMMS. Support asset tagging and classification to ensure traceability and effective reporting. Conduct asset criticality assessments to prioritise maintenance efforts. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM & PdM): Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance plans. Use data insights and team feedback to continuously improve maintenance strategies. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards CMMS Optimisation: Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance plans. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards Stores & Inventory Management Support the integration and management of spare parts and inventory within the CMMS. Ensure critical spares are available and properly tracked to reduce downtime Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse maintenance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Generate reports on asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and system performance. Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and IT teams to align CMMS functionality with business objectives. Liaise with software vendors to resolve issues and implement upgrades. Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline). Time served technician with 5+ years experience in a maintenance engineering role. Proven experience in maintenance engineering and CMMS management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance best practices. Key Competencies: Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CMMS platforms and asset management systems. Organisation: Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Communication: Clear and effective communicator across all levels. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data handling and reporting. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions. Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with a flexible, adaptable approach. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the organisation's assets, ensuring that maintenance activities are proportionate, well-documented, timely, and effective. The Maintenance Engineer plays a key role in enhancing the overall maintenance strategy and supporting the long-term operational goals of the company.
