We’re seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer to join a global product development team focused on cybercrime and abuse prevention . This is an opportunity to work alongside security researchers and data scientists in a fast-moving environment where your work will make a real impact.

Global product development group with a focus on cybercrime and abuse prevention .
Includes security researchers, data scientists, and engineers .
Entire team currently works remotely worldwide .
Customer-focused, operating globally (flexibility required for urgent issues, but no need to work US hours).
High-energy, fast-moving culture – thrives on shipping code quickly and handling pressure.
Collaborates closely with law enforcement – integrity and professionalism are essential .
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and frameworks using Python .
Work with large-scale, high-volume data environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, data scientists, and engineers.
Ship production-ready code quickly while maintaining high quality.
Contribute to architecture design and technical decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real time.
Champion continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
Candidate Profile
5–9 years’ experience as a Software Engineer (exceptional candidates with 2+ years considered).
Strong professional expertise in Python (primary language).
Proven track record in building scalable systems, APIs, and microservices.
Experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
High levels of commitment, integrity, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
Exposure to cybersecurity, fraud detection, or abuse prevention systems.
