Director Supply Chain Management – Carlow
Are you our next Director of Supply Chain? An opportunity is now available to lead a talented and energetic team to deliver vaccines, biologics and small molecules products to our patients around the world.
Responsibilities
Your Core Responsibilities
- Plan & Scheduling, Warehouse management, Material management, Logistics, Weight and Dispense, Supplier management and SAP at the site. This role also has dotted line responsibility for Procurement.
- Be a member of the site Leadership Team and contribute to the development of the site strategy and coordination of overall site operations.
- Set strategy and direction for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to ensure ongoing value is added to meet business needs, including the integration of the project Rathgall and supporting new product introductions.
- Provide strategic leadership, build competencies, and develop talent within the organization.
- Utilize the site Supply Chain organization to ensure alignment of Supply Chain activities across the division.
- Demonstrate strong leadership with a commitment to a safe, compliant and inclusive culture, with high emotional intelligence, sound decision-making, and a sense of ownership and accountability.
Who you are
You are ready if you have:
- Deep understanding of site operations, processes (ideally familiar with the Products), equipment and associated stakeholders (internal and external Customers & Suppliers).
- Knowledge of Material Management Requirements (Direct and Indirect) and Supplier Management.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and Master Data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate in a diverse organization.
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a related Business, Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline. A minimum of 10 years post qualification is required.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
